If your aggregate is something like 259.5 and you know that your state/locality cutoff mark for the course you have chosen is something like 260, please...... Don't panic. Your name is already on the merit list..... 2. If you know that you reached or got above the cut off mark for your department/course, but doesn't see your name on the merit list, my dear it means your JAMB subject combination is totally wrong.... This is one of the things UNN considers during compilation of merit list..... That's why it's called merit! For instance, if your course is Medicine and surgery and you wrote English, Maths, Biology And physics in JAMB, my dear sorry, you cannot be admitted on merit list. A brilliant 16-year-old student named Mubarak Razak has passed on. gathered that Razak died after a brief illness which occurred after he had passed his Joint Admission and Matriculation exams in flying colours. Razak had applied to study Medicine and Surgery at University of Ilorin and was successful in the Post-UTME screening only for him to die.
